“We’re Expecting!”Posted: January 22nd, 2015
Last year was one of the busiest years Christian Illusionist Brett Myers and his wife Labrina have experienced to date. Their travels ranged from California to Maine, Texas to Minnesota, and many states in between.
“It’s been an incredibly busy year,” Labrina says, “full of reconnecting with old friends and meeting even more new ones. I have so many memories flood my mind when I remember 2014 that it’s difficult to choose a favorite.”
This year is looking to be just as exciting as the last. However, the touring model is shifting slightly as Brett and Labrina are expecting their first child the end of May.
“We’re absolutely thrilled! This isn’t the end of my time performing with Brett. However, I’ll be working behind the scenes, and we’ll be traveling with our amazing crew for a few months as we make this exciting transition into parenthood,” Labrina explains. “I grew up on the road and loved the chance to tour with my family. We’re all still incredibly close.”
Christian Illusionists Brett and Labrina already have many illusion shows confirmed for this year, and they are currently booking for this year. To request information about having them partner with you for your event, fill out a contact form here.
Making Poverty DisappearPosted: May 6th, 2014
On May 30th and 31st, Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers will be partnering with WJTL to raise funds for HOPE International. HOPE is a Lancaster-based organization that seeks to stimulate economic growth in the poorest communities of the world through training, savings, and small loans.
The show, titled “The Wonder of HOPE,” will transport you to a world where mystery and illusions abound. May 30th and 31st, Brett will be joined onstage at The Junction Center in Manheim, PA, with a full cast, live animals, and his grandest illusions for a two-hour theatre spectacular.
Last year, Christian Illusionist Brett Myers debuted his expanded theatre show in Hagerstown, MD. Audience members saw classic illusions such as a woman floating in the air and a girl disappearing before their eyes. This year, Christian Illusionist Brett is adding even more never-before-seen acts to the show, including a new aerial silks routine in which his wife, Labrina, flies high above the audience.
Brett Myers uses his illusions to inspire wonder, yet he desires his audience to remember more than just the magic. A portion of every ticket sold will go to benefit the poverty-relieving efforts of HOPE International, to help make a positive difference in communities around the world.
Brett and Labrina Myers travel full-time performing Christian illusionists and sharing their passion for art, hope, and life. They partner with theatres, community organizations, and churches nationwide; and they currently reside in Mount Joy, PA.
Reservations can be made by calling 717-459-3701 or going to www.thejunctioncenter.com. Cost is $12 for adults, and $7 for children (there is a $3 service fee added per ticket)

Reaching New Heights in 2014Posted: December 27th, 2013
This new year, Christian Illusionists Brett A. Myers and Labrina will begin integrating an exciting new art into their stage show. “We are very excited to begin touring with Labrina’s aerial silks,” says Brett. For those unfamiliar with what exactly aerial arts are, it’s like acrobatics except that it takes place 15-20 feet in the air.
Labrina has been studying aerial arts at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts for the past few years. Her first inspiration for learning this art came when she was 6 years old at a Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus. “I remember seeing people flying, swinging, and inverting through the air. Their defiance of gravity seemed like magic. The next day, I went outside to our rope swing and imagined that I was the aerialist, swinging and flying through the air.” Fast forward a few years, and Labrina is now ready to make that dream a reality.
This new combination of blending illusions and aerials arts will create a new and one of a kind experience for their audiences. In fact, in 2014 Brett & Labrina will be the only touring christian illusionist and aerialist duo in the country.
