I am happy to announce that Brett and I are currently on our honeymoon! We are trying to be very intentional about starting our marriage out with the right focus and priorities. For this reason, we won't be answering any emails or phone calls until February 15. However, your communication is highly important to us!

Brett Myers and the BAM Magic cast debuted a new finale piece at Antietam Recreation Center last weekend. The two-hour, theatre-style shows were complete with an intermission as well as dessert provided by the Antietam staff. Partnering with the staff was a pleasure for all of us, and we look forward to working with them again in the future. For anyone near the Hagerstown, MD area, we encourage you to check out their website for information on more shows they produce throughout the year.

On a more personal note, Christian Illusionist Brett Myers and Labrina Gerhart will be married in only two weeks! They are incredibly excited to be sharing this time of preparation with their families. And they greatly appreciate your prayers for wisdom and blessing as they begin this exciting journey together.

Christmas offered us much time to relax and enjoy time with family over the holidays. However, with the family reunions at a close, Brett is now working to build a prop for the show that will be part of a brand new finale piece involving the entire BAM Magic cast.

Our hope is that this new illusion will not only leave audiences astounded, but also inspired by truth. As a Christian illusionist, Brett desires to perform his art with excellence while creating symbols that point to Christ's redemptive hope. We can't wait to share this new effect! It is set to debut early January 2012.

In a bit of a personal but important life development, Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers is now engaged to the lovely and beautiful Miss Labrina Gerhart.

Brett and Labrina met 3 years ago at magic conference, where Brett's mentors (Christian Illusionists Duane and Mary Laflin) played "match-maker." Since that time, they have shared many adventures and special moments and look forward to celebrating their futures together at their wedding on January 28, 2012 in Loretto, TN.

  Yesterday, Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers finished filming his new teaching illusions DVD, titled GENESIS: Enter the World of Mystery. This new project teaches step-by-step the illusions that launched Brett into being a full-time Christian illusionist.

     Here is what Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers had to say, "We are very excited about project GENESIS. This is something we've had in the works a long time, but now are excited to see the original idea become a reality. The illusions taught in this DVD are the tricks that for years I've shown audiences, and still show today."

     The official release date for the DVD is scheduled for October 29, 2011.

    Last week, one memorable event made front-page news in the local Big Rapids newspaper, The Pioneer. The Bam Magic cast partnered with Trinity Fellowship Church for a dynamic outreach event into Big Rapids, MI.

   We were impressed by how well the church staff members had built relationships with the local school systems. This connection allowed Brett to perform three school assemblies as teasers for the main outreach event Wednesday night.

   Mat Wellnitz from Trinity Fellowship reported that "out of 475 guests, 84 put their faith in Christ!"  He told us that "one new believer came because her son saw one of the assemblies!  And, one of the teachers saw an assembly, brought her husband, and both became new believers that night!  Several more people had more questions, many seeds were planted and watered that night!" Praise God!

    Mat concluded, "I can't write enough about our event.  Brett and his [team] were a very fun group to work with.  The excitement around church still has not worn off yet! Brett's God given talents gave him the credibility to attract people to the outreach event and to share the gospel in an extremely relatable way.  Our expectations were exceeded!  The professionalism and talents of this young man are exceptional.  I would not hesitate to recommend Brett to anyone who wants to have a highly successful outreach event."
