In February, Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers had the opportunity to partner with a congregation near Chattanooga, TN to raise support  for relief efforts in Haiti. Brett explained, "I was humbled and honored to be apart of a community effort that sought to show Christ's love to a people that have been devastated by the Haiti earthquake. The audience's compassion and desire to help reminded me of the awesome responsibility that we as the church have to be Christ's hand of healing in the world."

    Other local artists including ventriloquists, magicians, and music groups joined in on this effort to help draw the community in. All of the funds raised were used to support the missionary efforts of SCORE International.  The picture above features Christian illusionist Brett A.   While touring, Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers ventured to some famous sites in the Northeast. Washington DC, Niagara Falls, and New York City, were just a few of the fun stops along the way.

   "It was a great relief to take a break from touring and the mundane tasks of the office and see these famous destinations. Niagara Falls was a breath-taking site of God's awesome power, Washington DC provided an exciting glimpse into our nation's history, and NYC was just a really incredible city to see." We asked Brett whether he performed magic for some of the tourists. He reports that he and some of the group traveling with him did perform magic in the streets. Brett A. Myers, Christian Illusionist, recently performed for a Fifth Quarter event near Houston, TX. While he was there, he was able to sample a lot of the Tex-Mex cuisine, but Brett recalls that one of his favorite memories from the trip was "being able to perform for the football team before the start of the game. I was quickly hurried into the locker room to do a quick trick to promote the Fifth Quarter event. Later, I witnessed 250 pound linemen screaming and pacing around the room from partial astonishment and horror. It was pretty hilarious!" The event drew a large youth crowd that night, and the host reports that it was a tremendous success due to the amazing illusions of Brett Myers.

  Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers had an incredible youth event at the Tar Hollow State Park in OH. There he performed some of his newest additions to the Journey Beyond the Natural show, including his new entertainment filled version of the classic Straight Jacket Escape and a lie detector routine using a mysterious bell. Brett comments on his experience in OH, "The show was a tremendous success. The teenagers were a bit terrified during the psychic portion of the show, but this made them all the more attentive as I began to explain how and why they were so easily deceived. This sparked several great conversations after the show, and I was told by the host that the program served as a perfect spring board for the rest of the week."

    Christian Illusionist Brett A. Myers had the opportunity to travel out to Los Angeles at the end of July. While he was in CA, he visited the world renowned Magic Castle in downtown Hollywood. Although this was his first visit to the magic castle, Brett was able to share a few of his favorite tricks with the guests who were there.
