Brett is currently in Columbus, OH at the Mennonite Church USA Annual Convention. Brett reports that he is enjoying the being apart of the convention. "Last night, I joined the entertainment lineup for one of their coffee houses. The audience was very responsive and seemed to be delighted by my sense of humor. I'm looking forward to teaching the seminars that are scheduled for Saturday. As a seminar speaker, I will be addressing the lies of the occult/paranormal in search of the genuine supernatural."

  Brett writes in to give an update on how the summer tour has been going so far. "Things have been very busy the past 2 weeks. The crew and I have traveled hundreds of miles through many states. We've had several successful events in TN, PA, and MD. Our events have ranged from retirement communities to block parties, youth camps, and children's sunday services. Next week we head to Cincinatti, OH for the Mennonite Annual Conference. We're very excited to be apart of the conference, and cannot wait to conduct the seminars that we have scheduled there."

Brett graduated from Bryan College in Dayton, TN this month, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Now that he has graduated from college, he hopes to turn his focus towards pursuing the new and exciting opportunities that God has set before him. Brett comments, "I'm ecstatic about some of these God-given opportunities. I'm also grateful for the slower pace of summer so that I can refocus and work on some things that I haven't had time to work on. We will be making several updates to the site over the next few months. Look for changes and updates in the information tab. We've also begun work on creating a new promotional video for the website and a magic teaching DVD. Check back with us to find out more information about these items."

 Last weekend, Brett and his crew headed down to Panama City Beach, Florida for a youth retreat. Brett visually demonstrated how easily our eyes can be fooled and showed that when we base truth solely upon our perceptions, we will be captives to deception. He also talked about how youth often accept lies about their identities, "Our culture is constantly trying to convince us that we are inadequate, and the we need the latest product to achieve value and self-worth. However, because God created men and women in his own image, we have value. This not only radically affects how we see ourselves, but also should affect how we treat and value other people."

Brett started 2009 off with a bang, by traveling to the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO for a pregame event. The event, sponsored in part by Groundwire Ministries, gave families the opportunity to come out and listen to great speakers and entertainment before the Denver Nuggets played that night.

Brett recounts that one of his most memorable moments from the trip was patiently waiting backstage for his soundcheck. "The coordinator apologized for the delay, but said that she thought VANILLA ICE would be done with his sound check soon. At first, I thought she was joking, but then I realized she wasn't and saw Vanilla Ice warming up for the half-time show." Although he was a bit delayed, Brett was more than happy to share the stage with the legend: Vanilla Ice.

Today marks the end of the 2008 Summer Tour. Brett performed at over 30 events this with stops in SC, TX, LA, FL, OH, WV, PA, MD, and TN. We're working to compile all the video footage from these events into a video blog that will be available soon. Brett will be taking the month of September off before kicking off the fall season in October. We've already posted our October dates so check them out.

Wow, it has been a while since we last updated the site. Spring seemed to go by so quickly. Brett now completed his junior year at Bryan College. He has been fairly busy with more than 25 events lined up for the summer 2008 tour (some of them aren't listed on the site because they are private events).

   During the month of May, Brett traveled to Atlanta, GA for a Dynamic Communicator's Workshop that was run by Ken Davis. Brett also performed at churches, summer camps, and retirement communities. He also recently returned from a successful Upward Soccer event in Baton Rouge, Louisianna (more on that later). Keep checking back this summer as we have more updates coming in the near future!
